# What can I do if I have food allergies?

As we adapt our packing and fulfillment procedures to our growth, we are not yet able to guarantee that allergens will be excluded from orders. Although customers can build their boxes, our facility is not an allergen-free facility. In addition to the organic fruits and vegetables that make up our boxes, we pack and ship various non-fruit and vegetable products such as oils, nuts, packaged goods, and frozen proteins including fish and/or shellfish. 

All of the inventory we keep on hand, while separated, is stored in the same facility and packaged in a common area. Please note that in most cases, packaged goods are processed or packaged by a different company or provider with their processing facility which may or may not be free of allergens such as nuts, dairy, soy, shellfish, and other common or uncommon allergens.

Additionally, much of our produce is sourced from small and medium farms that grow, make, or sell additional products beyond the specific produce types that we are sourcing from them.

Because we cannot always know what these facilities or farms grow, handle, or process; we cannot and do not consider our own fulfillment facility allergen-free. We advise customers to exercise caution in the case of life-threatening or severe allergies and to please sign up for our newsletter so we can inform you when we are better equipped to accommodate allergy concerns.
